Herminia Rosa Lopez Tobon de Giraldo [Spanish: López Tobón] (21 January 1912 – 19 April 2022) was a Colombian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Herminia Rosa Lopez was born in the village of Santa Ana, Granada, Antioquia on 21 January 1912. She married at the age of 22. The couple had 11 children (five of them died in infancy). Her husband died at the age of 43.

As of January 2018, she had four living children, 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In January 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday.

At the age of 110, she could still walk with the help of a cane. She was also still lucid.

Lopez lived with her oldest daughter, Ana (aged 86 in January 2022) in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia. She died there on 19 April 2022, at the age of 110 years, 88 days.
