Filomena Kolomaznikova (née Nemeckova) [Czech: Filomena Němečková Kolomazníková] (4 August 1916 – 8 July 2024) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Filomena Kolomaznikova was born in the village of Rokytnice, Přerov District, Olomouc Region, Austria-Hungary (present-day Czech Republic), on 4 August 1916. She spent her childhood and youth in her native village. After getting married, she and her husband moved to Vinar, where they raised four children together. She commuted from Vinar to Meopta in Přerov for work. Throughout her life, she loved reading, but her greatest passion was hiking.

On 1 September 2023, following the death of 109-year-old Bedriska Adamickova, she became the oldest living person in the Czech Republic.

Filomena Kolomaznikova died in Přerov, Olomouc Region, Czech Republic, on 8 July 2024, at the age of 107 years, 339 days. Following her death, then 107-year-old Blazena Strachotova became the oldest living person in the Czech Republic.
