Florence Baker claimed that she was born in St. Kitts and Nevis on 19 November 1898.
In November 2008, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian. At the age of 112, she lived with her 93-year-old daughter and 63-year-old granddaughter.
Baker died in Cayon, St. Kitts and Nevis on 2 June 2011 at the age of 112 years, 195 days. If her age is true, she could be oldest person ever from St. Kitts and Nevis. The oldest verified person from St. Kitts and Nevis was Rosalind Hill (1899–2010), who died in New York, United States at the age of 110 years, 294 days.
