Florence Finch (née Regardsoe) (22 December 1893 – 10 April 2007) was a British-born New Zealand supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Florence Finch was born as Florence Violet Regardsoe in London, England, UK on 22 December 1893. She married Charles Finch in 1915 and had twins, Charles and Ellen, in 1919 and lived in London until she moved to New Zealand permanently in 1969. Although nearly deafblind, she celebrated her 113th birthday in Hastings, New Zealand on 22 December 2006. Florence Finch died of cardio respiratory failure at Colwyn House in Hastings, New Zealand on 10 April 2007 at the age of 113 years and 109 days. Florence Violet Finch holds currently the longevity record for New Zealand.
