Florence Alexandria "Didi" Foster (née Dadoorian; 13 June 1911 – 24 July 2021) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2023.

Biography[]

Foster was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on 13 June 1911 to Alexander and Victoria Dadoorian. Her parents were Armenian immigrants who had come to the United States in 1910, a year before she was born.

Foster was a professional singer until she met her future husband Arnold Foster, a professional trumpet player, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. They were married on 28 March 1939 in Dade County, Florida, USA. It is unknown if the couple had any children. Foster credits her longevity towards good genetics she inherited from her grandparents. In June 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday.

Foster died in Bradenton, Florida, USA on 24 July 2021 at the age of 110 years, 42 days.
