Flossie Bundy (née Miley; 7 January 1891 – 12 January 2001) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Flossie Bundy was born as Flossie Miley in Ohio, USA on 7 January 1891. She was the youngest out of five children born to a physician and his wife. One of her sisters died just a few months after birth, and her oldest brother John died when he was just five years old. She never learned to drive. At some point in her life, she moved to Indiana.
On her 108th birthday in 1999, Bundy attributed her longevity to not drinking or smoking, and taking a multi-vitamin with minerals everyday for over 80 years after her husband insisted her on doing so.
In January 2001, Bundy celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Flossie Bundy died from old age in Anderson, Indiana, USA on 12 January 2001, at the age of 110 years, 5 days (110 years, 6 days according to her obituary).
