Frances Jackson Johns (née Campbell; 3 February 1886 – 24 May 1999) was a validated American supercentenarian.

Biography

Frances Johns was born as Frances Campbell on a farm in the Scott County, Arkansas on 3 February 1886, Johns was the ninth of 14 children. She remembers picking cotton as a girl.

Johns married Lee Jackson on 25 June 1910. The couple had 2 children, Leo and Leanna. Leanna died in infancy. The couple later divorced and she came to San Pedro on June 15, 1931, with her son Leo. She was a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Her second husband, Harry Johns, whom she married in 1941, died 15 January 1955. She had 3 granddaughters, 7 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Frances Johns died in Los Angeles County, California on 24 May 1999 aged 113 years, 110 days.
