Francis “Attiman/Ason“ Felix (4 October 1905? – 3 November 2017) was a Trinidadian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If his age is true, he could be one of the oldest people ever who was born and died in Trinidad and Tobago.
Biography[]
When he was 12, his mother, Matilda died when she was only 28. Soon after his father left Felix and his siblings. Not long after, Felix was forced to discontinue his schooling prematurely and work as a fisherman to support himself and two brothers. At the age of 23, he married Matilde and had 15 children. He get the first child at age 15. His wife died in 1988.
In 2012, his first daughter was still alive at the claimed age of 92.
Francis died in Paramin, Trinidad and Tobago on 3 November 2017 at claimed age of 112 years, 30 days. His funeral was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Maraval on 7 November 2017.
