Francisco Mamerto Reynoso (8 May 1914 - 17 July 2024) was a supercentenarian from the Dominican Republic who was the oldest known living man and person in the Dominican Republic. His age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Francisco Reynoso was born in Palmarito near Salcedo, Hermanas Mirabal Province, Dominican Republic on 8 May 1914 (claimed 22 March 1911). His father, Apolinar, had 33 children in total from different marriages – Francisco was the first of nine children from one of his father's marriages.

Around 1940, he married Aurelia Almanzar, whom he met while attending the Santa Eduvigis festivities in El Algarrobo, Moca. The couple had 12 children. He supported his family by working in agriculture.

In May 2024, he celebrated his 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Francisco Reynoso died in Palmarito near Salcedo, Hermanas Mirabal Province, Dominican Republic on 17 July 2024 at the age of 110 years, 70 days.
