Frank Ahmann (11 May 1889 – 22 March 2000) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). He is the oldest validated man ever who died in Iowa.

Biography

Frank Ahmann was born in Remsen, Iowa, USA on 11 May 1889.

Frank married Genevieve Wengler on March 7, 1916 in Remsen, Iowa. They lived in Remsen for a few years before moving to a farm in 1920. Frank and Genevieve had two sons, LeRoy and Donald. She died 16 March, 1954.

Frank married Lilly E. Stortz on April 7, 1958 in Woodstock, Minnesota. She died January 1, 1965.

Ahmann died at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars, Iowa, USA on 22 March 2000 at the age of 110 years, 316 days. At the time of his death, he was the second-oldest known living man in the United States, behind John Painter.
