Frantiska Koznarova (Czech: Františka Kožnarová) (25 September 1903 – 8 February 2011) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Frantiska Koznarova was born in Velka Bites, Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic) on 25 September 1903. She never married, and although she comes from several siblings, she remains alone.

Until very highage, she lived alone in a cottage where she had a goat and cared for a hen, a dog, and a cat. "People would often meet her with scythe when she was driving her goats for more than 100 years, and the goat's milk and cheeses made from it were of great help to her for a long time.

Koznarova moved to the retirement home at the beginning of 2006 on her 103th birthday after being in the hospital for several weeks. She became the oldest living person in the Czech Republic, following the death of 107-year-old Marie Smejkalova on 26 January 2011.

Koznarova died in Velka Bites, Vysocina Region, Czech Republic on 8 February 2011 at the age of 107 years, 136 days.
