Freida Michael Shamlaty (neé Abugadalla; 3 November 1886 – 11 December 1996) was a Lebanese-born American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2012.

Biography

She was born in Hasbaya, Ottoman Empire (present-day Lebanon) on 3 November 1886 as Farida Mikhail Abou-Gadalla. She emigrated to the United States on 17 January 1905, from Marseilles, France. She married Habbib Shamlaty on 10 February 1909.

Shamlaty died in Florida, United States on 11 December 1996 at the age of 110 years, 38 days.^[1]
