Fumie Suzuki was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan on 20 June 1912.

In June 2022, Suzuki celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Fumie Suzuki currently lives in a nursing home in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan at the age of 112 years, 164 days. She is currently the second-oldest known living person in Kanagawa Prefecture, after Nobu Kawano.
