Futsuko Furuie [Japanese: 古家弗子] (1 January 1906 – 10 December 2017) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG)
Biography
Futsuko Furuie was born in Japan on 1 January 1906 and lived in Shiki, Saitama Prefecture. She was the oldest living person in Saitama Prefecture since the death of Tane Shimada on 16 October 2016 until her disappearance from the local oldest living persons register in December 2017 aged between 111 years, 334 and 364 days. She died on 10 December 2017 in Shiki, Saitama Prefecture at the age of 111 years and 343 days.
