Biography[]

Georgia Ellen Noble was born in Brookland, Arkansas, USA on 19 October 1883 to parents George W. Noble and Nancy Ann Louy. Georgia married John H. Cooper (1872–1951) in 24 September 1899. They had 7 children (5 sons and 2 daughters). Her husband died in 1951. She died in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, USA on 6 October 1995 at the age of 111 years, 352 days, just 13 days short of her 112th birthday. She was survived by two children, 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 35 great-great-grandchildren. Her son, Glen Cooper (9 February 1910 – 6 January 2013) lived to nearly 103 years old.

Age valdidation[]

Cooper's age was verified by Daniel Gonik, Mark E. Muir, Waclaw Jan Kroczek, Ollie Trim, et al, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 3 June 2016

Whilst there has been some speculation on Georgia’s year of birth (1882 or 1883), the GRG decided, based on all the evidence gathered, that Cooper's most likely year of birth was 1882 and was therefore 112 years (nearly 113) old at the time of her death.
