Gerda Muff (née Olsen; 16 March 1906 – 29 April 2016) was a validated Danish supercentenarian who was, at the time of her death aged 110 years, 44 days, the second-oldest resident of Denmark.

Biography

Gerda Olsen was born in København, København Municipality, Hovedstaden, Denmark. She spent a couple of years in the United States. On 16 March 2016, Gerda Muff was reported to be the third-oldest living person in Denmark (behind Signe Hoejer and Ellen Brandenborg) and the oldest of the Danish region of Hovedstaden. With Mrs. Muff's 110th birthday, for the first time in the Danish history, there were three recognised simultaneously living supercentenarians in that Nordic country.

Gerda Muff died in Allerød, Allerød Municipality, Hovedstaden, Denmark, on 29 April 2016 at the age of 110 years, 44 days.[1]

The case of Gerda Muff was meticulously examined and verified by Waclaw Jan Kroczek, GRG Correspondent for Poland and Nordic Countries, and validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 18 October 2021.
