Gertrude Gilham nee Pottruff (14 July 1886 – 3 October 1996) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Gertrude Gilham was born as Gertrude Eva Pottruff in Ontario, Canada on 14 July 1886. Her parents were Alfred Pottruff and Loretta McIntyre.

She married Sgt Cyril Herbert Gilham on 1 June 1911. Her husband died in France in February 1916 during WW1.

In July 1996, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Gertrude Gilham died in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 3 October 1996 at the age of 110 years, 81 days.
