Giuseppa Spolitu-Sanna (12 September 1883 – 16 October 1993) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography[]
Spolitu was born on 12 September 1883 to Francesco and Luisa (Fresu) Spolitu, in the town of Berchidda. She lived there her entire life. She eventually married someone with the surname Sanna. Spolitu became the oldest living person in Italy following the death of Maria Sirianni, and died on 16 October 1993, aged 110 years, 34 days. Chelidonia Merosi-Lollobrigida became Italy's oldest person following her death.
