Giustina (Justine) Giardino-Bianco (27 September 1872 – 21 July 1982) was an Italian-Swiss centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Switzerland at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Giustina Giardino-Bianco was born in Candelo, Piedmont, Italy on 27 September 1872.
At the age of 108, although she had vision problems, Giardino-Bianco had retained her lucidity and mischief, and still accompanied her meals with a good glass of wine.
Giardino-Bianco died in Carouge, Geneva, Switzerland on 21 July 1982 at the age of 109 years, 297 days. Following her death, then-107-year-old Ada Duvoisin became the oldest known living person in Switzerland.
