Gladys Cloke was born on 24 July 1911 in Swanscombe, Kent, England, UK.
In July 2021, Cloke celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian. She credited her longevity to having a biscuit and a cup of cappuccino everyday.
Gladys Cloke died in Madeley, Shropshire, England, UK on 6 June 2022, at the age of 110 years, 317 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Shropshire, and the fifth-oldest known living person in the United Kingdom, after Ethel Caterham, Rose Eaton, Ada Thompson, and Edna Strickland.
