Goncalino Norberto [Brazilian: Gonçalino] (born 8 August 1911) is a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Goncalino Norberto was born in Brazil on 8 August 1911, the oldest of eight children of Maria Norberto. He worked as a farmer. He married twice and had six biological children and two adopted children.

On 12 February 2021 at the age of 109, he received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, making him one of oldest people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

In August 2021, he celebrated his 110th birthday. As of August 2021, he has 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

At the age of 110, he is still able to walk without help, works as a farmer and counting firewood.

On 30 September 2021 at the age of 110, he received his third dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

In April 2022, he was hospitalized for pneumonia and was discharged in May.

Goncalino Norberto currently lives with her daughter Eveli dos Santos in Vargem Bonita, Santa Catarina, Brazil, at the age of 110 years, 322 days.
