Harry Laverick (21 March 1894 – 6 December 2002) was a British centenarian who was the oldest known living man in the UK at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Laverick was born in England on 21 March 1894. He never married nor had children. On 14 April 2002, he became the oldest man in the United Kingdom after the death of 109-year-old Frederick Moore.

Laverick died in Maldon, England on 6 December 2002 at the age of 108 years, 260 days. His successor as the United Kingdom’s oldest man was Ukrainian-born Jerzy Pajaczkowski-Dydynski, then aged 108. As he had no direct descendants, he may not have left a will as his estate has not been claimed.
