Haru Takagi (Japanese: 高木ハル; 15 September 1909 – c.13 November 2019) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Takagi was born in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto, Japan, on 15 September 1909. She was the youngest of 8 siblings. She got married at the age of 24 and moved to Yatsushiro with her husband. Until 2015, she lived on her own before moving to a nursing home. In September 2019, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Takagi died in Iagemachi, Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, on circa 13 November 2019, at the age of 110 years, c.59 days.
