Hattie Lorena Stone (née Lloyd; 17 August 1867 – 13 January 1980) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Hattie Stone was born as Hattie Lorena Lloyd in Marysville, Yuba, California, USA on 17 August 1867. The family soon moved to Colusa, California. She married a Civil War veteran (Union side), Charles Stone, on 14 March 1889, in Oregon. The couple had four children in total. She worked as a librarian in Colusa County. Charles died in 1914. On her 90th birthday in 1957, she was described as physically and mentally alert.
Stone died in California, USA on 13 January 1980 at the age of 112 years, 149 days.
