Hazel Plummer (born 19 June 1908) is an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group.

Biography

Hazel Plummer was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA, on 19 June 1908. She grew up a street apart from her future husband, Elmer – although they didn’t know it at the time. The two married in 1935 and had two children, Roger and David.

While Hazel raised the children, Elmer worked at a steel company and later in the children’s department of a department store. The family later moved to Littleton, Massachusetts, where she has lived since. Her mother lived with them until she died at age 94. Her father died at 74. Plummer had six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren at the time she turned 110.

Plummer became the oldest known living person in the state of Massachusetts following the death of Gina Galvani on 27 January 2019.
