Hedy Wegier (née Leipziger; 25 October 1903 – 12 May 2015) was a Polish-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Hedy Wegier was born in Silesia, German Empire (now Poland) on 25 October 1903. She moved to the USA with her husband Maurice in 1940.
In October 2013, Wegier celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Hedy Wegier died in New York, USA on 12 May 2015 at the age of 111 years, 199 days.
