Helen Caroline Campbell (née Smith; 27 September 1909 – 25 February 2020) was an American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024.
Biography[]
Campbell was born in Carroll County, Maryland, USA to Joseph and Nellie (née Shoemaker) Smith. She was married to John Campbell for 60 years before his death in 2005. The couple were the owners and operators of Campbell’s Radio and Television in Westminster, Maryland.
Campbell was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Taneytown, Mayland, where she lived for a number of years, before moving to a rehabilitation center in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She died on 25 February 2020 at the age of 110 years, 151 days.
