Helen Caroline Stetter (18 November 1893 – 1 June 2007) was a validated American supercentenarian who was the oldest living Nebraskan and, at the time of her death at age 113 years 195 days, the fourth-oldest validated person in the world, behind Yone Minagawa, Edna Parker, and Maria de Jesus.[1]

Helen Stetter was born in Chadron, Nebraska, USA, on 18 November 1893. The only Nebraskan older than Helen Stetter was Clara Huhn, born in 1887, who died in 2000 at the age of 113 years and 327 days. Stetter held the record as the oldest validated person ever from Nebraska, until Thelma Sutcliffe surpassed her age on 14 April 2020. Stetter was also listed as one of the 12 oldest people in the world in the 2007 Guinness Book of Records.
She never married, never had a driver's license or had any children, meaning she walked anywhere she went. Before she moved to the Pine View Good Samaritan Center in Valentine, Nebraska in 1989, Stetter made candy and cookies to sell or give away.
At her death, Helen Stetter ranked as one of the 100 oldest verified people on record. As of January 2016, she remains in the top 200 oldest people ever.
Stetter died in Valentine, Nebraska, USA, on 1 June 2007, at the age of 113 years, 195 days.
