Helene Axt (19 April 1912 – 8 November 2022) was a German supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022.
Biography[]
Helene Axt was born in Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany on 19 April 1912. In April 2021, she celebrated her 109th birthday with her 89-year-old great-niece.
In 2021, she was injured in a fall. In April 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Axt died on 8 November 2022 at Kursana Domizil Griesheim in Griesheim, Hesse, Germany at the age of 110 years, 203 days. She was the oldest known living person in Hesse.
