Helene Cazes [French: Hélène] (née Grimaldi; 29 September 1899 – 25 March 2010) was a French supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Helene Cazes was born in the 11th district of Paris, Ile-de-France, France on 29 September 1899.
Following the death of 110-year-old Germaine Fosse on 18 December 2009, Cazes became the oldest living person in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Helene Cazes died in Boscamnant, Charente-Maritime, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France on 25 March 2010, at the age of 110 years, 177 days. Her age was verified by Martin Miet, and validated by the GRG on 15 May 2010.
