Helene Lefevre [French: Hélène Lefèvre] (24 January 1914 – 24 February 2021) was a French centenarian who is one of the oldest known survivors of COVID-19, having recovered from the disease at the age of 106.
Biography[]
Helene Lefevre was born in Andresy, Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Ile-de-France, France on 24 January 1914. Her father died when she was age 7. She leaved school at age 14 to work. She joined a listening device test workshop at LTT, a telecommunications company, in 1928. She never married and not had children.
She moved at Ehpad Richard in 2014. On 15 April 2020, she tested positive for COVID-19; however, as of 1 May 2020, she successfully recovered.
Helene Lefevre died on 24 February 2021 in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, Ile-de-France, France, at the age of 107 years, 31 days.
