Hilman Valentim de Souza (also known as Ilma Martins; 2 May 1908 – c.29 July 2020) was a Brazilian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Valentim de Souza was born in Manhuacu, Minas Gerais, Brazil on 2 May 1908, the oldest of six siblings. She had Portuguese ancestry. Her father was farmer. She moved to Alegre, Espirito Santo at age 16.
She married and had three children: two died at age of 38 and 39 respectively and one son Wiris (aged 83 in May 2018). She got widowed at the age of 45.
As of her 107th birthday in 2015, she had one living son Wiris, three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
In May 2018, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Valentim de Souza died in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espirito Santo, Brazil around 29 July 2020 at the age of 112 years, c.88 days.
