Hiro Matsumoto (9 September 1911 – 19 November 2023) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Hiro Matsumoto was born in Japan on 9 September 1911. In September 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
In September 2023, Matsumoto was reported as the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture.
Matsumoto's age was verified by the MHLW, Japan and Waclaw Jan Kroczek, and validated by the GRG on 15 November 2023.
Hiro Matsumoto died in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, on 19 November 2023, at the age of 112 years, 71 days.
