Homer Chilcot Anderson (24 December 1897 – 23 September 2006) was an American centenarian and a World War 1 veteran. He was the oldest living man in Pennsylvania from the death of Joseph Doan on 6 November 2004 till his own death.

According to his World War I draft card (the date is wrong he was born in 1897 not 1898), Homer Anderson was born on 24 December 1897 and served in world war 1 from 1917-1918, his eye color is blue and he had black hair. 310 South Jared is where he lived at the time in Du Bois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, USA with a father James C. Anderson (1854–1929) in the 1900 census, Homer's father, James, and Homers Mother, Sarah A. McCoy (1857–1917), and 4 siblings. Homer did not know of his mother's passing until he came back from war in 1918. According to his marriage record, on 28 February 1920 Homer Married Mary Ruth Troupe (1898–1988) daughter of John and Anna Troupe. In the 1930 census, Homer is with his wife Mary and 2 kids, Bernice Anderson (1921–?) the oldest child and Marylu Anderson (1927–2019) the youngest child. In 1942 Homer registered to help out with World War 2. Homer's wife Mary passed away in 1988. Homer was interviewed by a Larry, and his interview is on YouTube to watch.
Homer Anderson passed away on 23 September 2006 in Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale Florida at the age of 108 years, 273 days. According to his obituary- Anderson, Homer, C., 108, of Pompano Beach passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2006. He was born in Dubois, PA. on December 24, 1897. He was Chief Engineer for the Pennsylvania State Highway and Bridge Authority. Former resident of Ct. and resident of this area since 1962. He served in the U.S. Army during WWI, member of the Scottish Rite, Syria Shrine in Pittsburgh, PA. Gold Coast Shrine Club and WWI Veterans # 1954. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary in 1988. Survived by his daughters, Bernice A. Ramsey of Madison, Ct. and Mary Lu Fielder of Clarington, PA, grandson Allen Pickett of Phoenix, AZ, great-grandson, Travis Pickett; niece, Doris Snedden of San Diego, CA and nephew, Gordon McNutt of Ft. Bragg, CA. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home. Services will be held 11 am Thurs. Sept. 28th at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a viewing 1 hour prior to Services on Thurs. Entombment in Forest Lawn South Mausoleum. Contributions may be made to the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Homer was interviewed in 2005 and passed away at the age of 108 years, 8 months and 30 days.
