Honoria Betzabe Robles [Spanish: Betzabé] (3 January 1909? – 1 July 2019) was a Chilean supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Robles claimed to have been born in Quilleco, Biobio Region, Chile, on 3 January 1909. Despite having no idea about her parents, she remembered the childhood and grandparents who raised her. According to her son: Jose Ruiz (aged 55 as of 2019), she had never been sick because she maintained a healthy diet. She had nine children.
Robles was reported as the oldest living person in Chile, following the death of Celino Villanueva on 18 April 2018. Her age was allegedly supported by civil registration record that support January 1909 as a birthyear. Robles herself claimed to have been up to 120 years old. She celebrated her claimed 110th birthday in January 2019. At that time, she had 10 grandchildren. She lived alone in the rural sector of Cambrales, Yumbel, Biobio Region, Chile.
Robles died in Yumbel, Biobio Region, Chile, on 1 July 2019 at the claimed age of 110 years, 179 days.
