Hubert Williams (1 April 1913 – 11 August 2022) was a Jamaican centenarian who was the oldest known living man in Jamaica at the time of his death.
Biography[]
Hubert Williams was born in Jamaica on 1 April 1913. He had at least one daughter: Isolyn Barrett.
In May 2021, Williams was reported as the second-oldest living person in Trelawny parish (after Jane Marrett) by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Following the death of 109-year-old Jane Marrett around 9 August 2021, Williams became the oldest living person in Trelawny.
Hubert Williams died in Clarks Town, Trelawny, Jamaica on 11 August 2022, at the age of 109 years, 132 days. He was buried in Clarks Town cemetery on 2 October 2022. He is the oldest known man ever to die in Jamaica.
