Hulda Maria Kallberg [Swedish: Källberg] (16 January 1911 – 18 November 2021) was a Swedish supercentenarian who was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024.
Biography[]
Hulda Kallberg was born in Torsang, Dalarna, Sweden on 16 January 1911.
She got married in 1932 with Evert Teodor Kallberg. They had three children: Gunn-Britt (born 1932), Sten (born 1933), and Kjell (born 1938). Evert died in 1964.
She worked as a hairdresser until she was 80 years old.
In January 2021, she celebrated her 110th birthday, as the first Swedish person born in an odd year to do so, since Astrid Zachrison in 2005.
Kallberg died in Falun, Dalarna, Sweden on 18 November 2021 at the age of 110 years, 306 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest living person in Sweden and the Nordic countries, after Flarid Lagerlund.
