Ibush Ademi [Macedonian: Ибуш Адеми] (born 15 April 1918) is a Macedonian centenarian who is currently the oldest known living person in North Macedonia.

Biography[]

Ibush Ademi was born in the village of Serova, Čair Municipality, Kingdom of Serbia (now North Macedonia), on 15 April 1918.

On 21 August 2021, at the age of 103, he received the Covid-19 vaccine, making him one of the oldest people in North Macedonia to receive it.

On 2 July 2023, following the death of 108-year-old Ramiz Selmani, he became the oldest known living man in North Macedonia.

On 13 September 2024, following the death of 110-year-old Fikrije Loki, he became the oldest known living person in North Macedonia.

On 10 January 2026, following the death of 108-year-old Rachel Nahmias of the United States, he became the oldest known living Macedonian-born person in the world.

Ibush Ademi currently lives in the village of Serova, Čair Municipality, North Macedonia, at the age of 107 years, 300 days. He is also the last known surviving person in North Macedonia born in the 1910s.
