Ida Enthof (7 September 1913 – 2024) was a German supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the third-oldest known living person in Germany, after Martha Henze and Ottilie Reimers.
Biography[]
Ida Enthof was born in Lower Osterrode am Harz, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany on 7 September 1913. She was the oldest of 2 children. She was allowed to manage the family's postroom which was a very happy memory of her, it was also a reason that she never saw much of the world as there was always much work on her family's farm. She later married and became a mother of 2 children. Her husband got drafted into the Wehrmacht when world war II started and was reported missing in the battle of Starlingrat, and never returned home. She and her children fledt with a train to Pomerania.
In September 2023, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
As of March 2024, her son Heinz Enthof (aged 86) was still alive
