Ilse Beck (5 October 1906 – 29 March 2018) was a German supercentenarian whose age is validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO) and recognized by LongeviQuest (LQ).
Biography
Beck was born in Dresden, Saxony, Germany on 5 October 1906. She was a clerk by profession. She had one son, Rainer (died in 2002).
She lived in Dresden until 2000. Later on, she moved to Kraftsdorf-Harpersdorf, Thuringen. At the time of her 110th birthday in 2016, she had three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Beck died in Kraftsdorf-Harpersdorf, Thuringen, Germany on 29 March 2018 at the age of 111 years, 175 days. At the time of her death, she was reported to be the oldest living person in Thuringen.[1]
Her age was validated by the ESO on 15 February 2020, and was later accepted by LongeviQuest.[2]
