Irene Huddle (12 October 1900 – 12 January 2011) was a validated Canadian-American supercentenarian.
Biography
She was born Irene Parsons in Manitoba, Canada on 12 October 1900. In early 1920, she moved to Washington State where she was a school teacher for several years. She became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. in 1940. In 1948 she married William Royal Huddle. The couple spent many years in San Francisco where Irene was curator of the San Francisco City Museum and a volunteer at the California Academy of Science. The couple had no children.
In 1994 she moved to Portland and lived at Calaroga Terrace until moving to Assumption Village in 2007.
Huddle died in Portland, Oregon, United States on 12 January 2011 at the age of 110 years, 92 days.
