Isabel Dryden (née Faskin; 16 October 1888 – 20 July 2000) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Isabel Dryden was born in Elora, Ontario, Canada on 16 October 1888 to parents Samuel and Mariah Faskin. She married Guy Dryden in December 1917. She was a dedicated and much loved school teacher for nine years before her marriage. They had two children, Elaine and Douglas. Her husband died in 1955. She was a longtime member of the United Church of Canada.
Since 1982, Isabel had been living in the Broadway Pentecostal Lodge. Dryden died in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 20 July 2000 at the age of 111 years, 278 days.
