Ishie Sato [Japanese: 佐藤石江] (July 1905 – 10 May 2016) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Ishie Sato was born in Japan in July 1905.
Following the death of 109-year-old Tei Sato of Mamurogawa on 1 December 2013, Sato became the oldest known living person in Yamagata Prefecture.
In July 2015, Sato celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Ishie Sato died in Sakata, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan on 10 May 2016 at the age of 110 years, 284-314 days.
