Itsuka Oshimo [Japanese: 大下イツカ] (12 December 1908 – 22 August 2021) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Itsuka Oshimo was born in Japan on 12 December 1908. In 2008, like other people who would turn 100 between 1 April 2008 and 31 March 2009 in Akitakata City, she was given a silver cup, and was visited by the mayor of the city.
Following the death of Mitsuko Agawa on 24 September 2020, Oshimo became the oldest living person in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
Oshimo died in Akitakata, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan on 22 August 2021 at the age of 112 years, 253 days.
