Johanna Jacoba de Calonne-Meister (11 November 1849 – 14 December 1958) was an Indonesian-Dutch centenarian who was the oldest known Indonesian-born person ever at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Jacoba de Calonne-Meister was born in Yogyakarta, Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) on 11 November 1849. Her parents were Christiaan Friedrich Meister and Johanna Maria Klerks. She had six siblings.
She married Antonius Victor de Calonne in Batavia, Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) on 22 December 1875. The couple had 10 children. Her husband died on 9 October 1893.
After the World War II, she moved to The Hague, on around the Laan van Meerdervoort.
Jacoba de Calonne-Meister died in The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands on 14 December 1958 at the age of 109 years, 33 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest known living person in the Netherlands, behind Christina Karnebeek-Backs.
