Jadwiga Stelmaszewska (18 October 1910 – 30 January 2020) was a Polish centenarian.
Biography
Jadwiga Stelmaszewska was born in Dabrowa, Russian Empire (now part of the city of Lomianki, Poland) on 18 October 1910. She was the third of four siblings: two older sisters Hela and Stanislawa, and younger brother Stanislaw. She married in 1951. She had one daughter Anne, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was a deeply religious person all her life.
On her 108th birthday, she was visited by Waclaw Jan Kroczek, Polish GRG Correspondent. She became the oldest known living person in Masovia Voivodeship following the death of 111 year-old Irena Smialowska on 30 March 2019.
Jadwiga Stelmaszewska died in Lomianki, Warsaw West County, Masovian Voivodeship, Polan on 30 January 2020 at the age of 109 years, 105 days.
