Jeanne Dumaine was born in Ile-de-France, France on 19 March 1886.
She became the oldest known living person in France, following the death of 112-year-old Marie-Helene Chanteperdrix on 9 March 1998.
Dumaine died in Ile-de-France, France on 3 January 1999 at the age of 112 years, 290 days. Following her death, then-112-year-old Marie Bremont became the oldest known living person in France.[1]
