Jeannie Glenn (née Stovall; 17 October 1912 – 26 June 2022) was an American centenarian whose age is verified by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography[]
Glenn was born on 17 October 1912 (claims 1911) in Haleburg, Alabama to Eddie and Annie (née Dawson) Stovall. For 60 years she was married to Benjamin Glenn, with whom she had three children: Fernando, Eddie Roy, and Marlene. She was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, for over 40 years. She loved singing and served as President of Mount Calvary's Inspirational Choir for over 30 years.
Glenn lived in many places over the years: Alabama, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, and finally North Carolina. She died in a nursing home in Garner, North Carolina on 26 June 2022 at the age of 109 years, 252 days (Claims 110 years).
