Jennie Delia Stuckey (née Wolf) (27 April 1885 – 15 November 1995) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022. She was one of the oldest known people in Ohio, USA when she died.
Biography[]
Jennie Stuckey was born Jennie Delia Wolf in Buffalo, New York, USA on 27 April 1885 to parents Frederick and Sarah (née Diefenbach) Wolf. She had a brother named William Andrew Wolf.
On 24 July 1904, Jennie married Herbert Stuckey and had five children with him: Cletus, Meda, Catherine, and two others. The couple were farmers in Bettsville, Ohio. Jennie also worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Bettsville.
Herbert died on 9 September 1946 after 42 years of marriage. After his death, Jennie lived independently until the age of 102, when she broke her hip and moved into the Quality Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fremont, Ohio. Jennie outlived two sons, one daughter, her brother, a great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
Jennie Stuckey died on 15 November 1995 in Fremont, Ohio, USA, at the age of 110 years, 202 days. She was survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great-grandchildren, and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
