Jeronimo Garcia (Spanish: Jerónimo García; 30 September 1912 (claimed 1910) – 16 December 2020), also known as "Geronimo García", was a Guatemalan centenarian who was the oldest (known) living man in Guatemala at time of his death.

Biography[]

Jeronimo Garcia was born in Los Sitios, Pueblo Nuevo Vinas, Santa Rosa Department, Guatemala on 30 September 1912, although he claimed to have been born in 1910, and his ID Card supported 1911. At the age of 5, he moved to Las Joyas de San Nicolás.

He married, but was widowed a year later. He married a second time and had four or eight children (sources differ) (including Catalina García Ruiz).

As of October 2018, he had 24 grandchildren (including Wilson Menaldo García), 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

In September 2020, he celebrated his 108th birthday (claimed 110th birthday).

Garcia died in Las Joyas de San Nicolas, Pueblo Nuevo Vinas, Santa Rosa Department, Guatemala on 16 December 2020 at the age of 108 years, 77 days (claimed 110 years, 77 days).
